Restaurante `La Montaña` is dedicated to people in search of something special and to those who likes to enjoy good food & good company! The restaurant is located in the beautiful countryside just outside of Cocentaina, amidst the rolling hilltops and pine trees with breathtaking views of the surroundings.
The idea is to lose yourself for a few hours in the in the tranquility that Restaurante `La Montaña` offers, relaxing with your partner, friends or family and to experience a truly unforgettable gastronomy experience, not just the first time, but every time you visit us!
We like to keep things simple, the restaurant is small, homely and personal and all our costumers know us by name, highlighting our dedication and reputation.
Restaurante ` La Montaña` is a Spanish family run restaurant with many year`s experience in the local gastronomy, offering only the very best quality cuisines and exquisite wines, many of them from the local award winning winemakers. Rest assured you will experience a truly traditional Alcoian / Cocentanian gastronomy experience, the way the locals have done for hundreds of years!
On our standard menu you will find a specialty that caters for every individual taste. Starting with a wide variety of starters and traditional rice dishes (all with a special personal touch!) and more standard meat and fish dishes. We have an extensive selection of personalized menu`s for large parties offering a wide variety of options and there is our very popular `weekend menu` - which offers a combination/selection of the most popular courses accompanied with a bottle the recommended wine of the week.
Our personal wine cellar boasts wines from all over Spain, from famous and well know winemakers and locally produced favourites. Whatever your preference, we will make sure that your choice compliments your mood and choice of cuisine.
