It was a great to see so many people enjoying themselves at Ricardo’s Bar on its official opening night Saturday 7th January. Zodiac duo got the evening off to a great start and were fantastic as usual, singing songs old, new and Spanish keeping everyone well entertained. Bar owners Richard & Rose where pleased to see such a good turn out and hope that everyone had a good time. There were many new faces and it was a really good atmosphere and Richard & Rose hope this will be just one of many enjoyable nights for their customers. The popular ‘Play your Cards Right’ carried out by Ricardo’s very own ‘Brucey’ was a great interval breaker and as it wasn’t won this time, rolls over to the interval on the following Saturday. This gets very interesting as the prize booty grows each week if it is not won. So get down to Ricardo’s on a Saturday evening and have a go at ‘Play Your Cards Right’ – you never know it could be you who plays their cards right on the night! There are plenty of events already booked in the calendar for Ricardo’s Bar so keep watching the Inland Traders new ‘What's On’ spot to find out what is going on. Just a few things on the calendar coming up soon are Jimmy Mac on Saturday 21st January with ‘Play your cards right’ in the interval and Karaoke on Saturday 28th January.
There is a Special Valentine’s Romantic evening on Tuesday 14th February – to make this event special it will be a ticket only evening for couples (sorry no children) with warm romantic surroundings, smoochy music and includes Bucks Fizz reception, 4 course meal with all drinks included for just €25 per person. In March there is a St Patricks night special on Friday 17th with Karaoke (including Irish Specials) so come along and have fun. There will be plenty of other things going on throughout the year and we hope to keep everyone entertained. Don’t forget there is Satellite TV too so you can also come and see all the major footy games at Ricardo’s.
