Benimarfull, is a small old Moorish village, with just 408 residents. The village has a toyfactory, two small textile factories and farming cooperative. Tourists to the area should not miss out on the typical sweet,  bizcochos de cuchara,  or the handmade liquors made with aromatic plants, or the local café-licor.

Benimarfull hold their village’s fiesta in honour of St. James, St. Ana and the Holy Christ of the Good Death in third and fourth weeks of July with the procession of the Christ and the Moors and Christians parade.

Encierros (running of young bulls through the streets) and open air dance. Raspall, a Valencian old ball game, is still played in the street.

From Valencia or from Alicante on the  N-340 / E-15 , take the exit for Muro de Alcoy take the CV-700 following the signs for Benimarfull-Pego
At circa 4 Km far from Muro de Alcoy, it is sign posted take the  track on the left with the large red big house at the end of it.
