Photography workshops and Holidays
Spring is just around the corner (promise) and it marks the arrival of Valencian Photographic Landscape Holidays. Rodg moved to Spain last August and set up home in Ontinyent. Here he will be running a range of photographic courses, workshops and holidays. Rodg is a professional photographer and has a distinction from the Royal Photographic Society of Great Britain. He has exhibited widely in the UK. His last exhibition in Derbyshire, where he lived for 20 years, received brilliant media coverage. Rodg worked for many years as a teacher in inner city Manchester and ran his photographic business in his spare time. As well as portrait and commercial commissions he was instrumental in leading a group project at the Lowry War Museum in guiding a group of youngsters to exhibit their work. Rodg told I.T “´I’m excited and really looking forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with those who already enjoy photography and those who are keen to start.
From March onwards Rodg will be running 1 day workshops on landscape photography. Visiting the towns of Bocairent, Moixent and surrounding area. This day is suitable whether you are an absolute beginner or already an advanced photographer. The day will look at ways of creating great compositions, use of camera and an opportunity to experiment with the aid of a professional. Future workshops planned include a days photography in Valencia City, photographing the landscapes of the Sierra Mariola and the Ayora valley. Also available are half day courses on the use of Adobe Photoshop and mentoring for photographers interested in gaining their LRPS.
In April Rodg is offering an action packed week’s holiday at his home in Casa Sanchis, which is set in the foothills of the Sierra Grossa. His partner Bev offers a range of well being treatments to make the holiday truly relaxing and revitalising.
