Following on from last time, more information for you regarding Colour and Aromas, and how they can heal.

Memory of Aroma can sometimes be so great that it can permeate space and time and pass with us from life time to another. The scent of orange blossom and jasmine flowers have a particularly strong association with certain places especially the warm countries where they grow in profusion. It is not unusual to find people who have strong feelings towards these aromas which they cannot explain. Smell is related to the most antique and reptilian parts of the brain which is also closely linked with the process of hunger and sexual behaviour. Our sense of smell is the first sense to develop in the foetus, giving it a unique place in its primary connection with the soul when it first enters the body of the unborn infant.

It is not so surprising, therefore, that our memory of scent could span from life to the next. Sometimes during a relaxation or therapy session, memories from very early childhood and even our past lives can make an appearance and these can be stimulated by both colour and aroma.

Not only can we associate colour and aroma with physical places, they are very much an integral part of our own energetic make-up. Light and aroma in our aura reveals our state of evolution at soul level so that our state of body, mind and spirit is revealed by the colours and aroma permeating our aura.

It has been said of many great Saints and Spiritual Masters that they give off a beautiful light and perfume which spreads out around them and lingers long after they are gone. Jesus Christ is associated with golden light as revealed in many beautiful paintings of antiquity. St. Germain is linked to the Violet ray, the colour of pure service while St. Francis is surrounded by the colour green showing his affinity with the natural world. These lines from a Buddhist text describe the beauty and fragrance of the radiant aura surrounding the Buddha which was reported to have extended for several miles.

Lo, like a fragrant lotus at dawn of day with full blown virgin scent,

Behold the Buddha’s glory shining forth,

As in the vaulted heaven beams the sun.

We too have our own colours and aroma which pervade our aura and reflect the energy in our physical, mental and emotional bodies. These energy vibrations spread out like ripples in a pond and interact with other vibrations in the environment. When we pass near someone, there is an interchange of energy and most of us have experienced good or bad vibrations coming from other people.

The fine vibrations of light and aroma also permeate solid matter and become embedded into the walls, furniture and furnishings. Often we can walk into a room and the atmosphere there will give us a strong sense of the previous occupants especially if strong emotions have been expressed in the space. Sometimes certain conditions allow these vibrations to be released and these are the times when we may see apparitions. Many old buildings which are reputed to house ghosts also have very distinctive aromas in certain rooms (don’t we know that one!). Happy and loving vibrations will give a room a fresh floral scent while those places where evil deeds have occurred will result in a heavy putrid smell. People who have attended or performed house cleansing rituals have reported the strength and effect these aromas had on them (so true!).It is through the use of powerful vibrations of light and aroma that these negative vibrations can be dissolved (and we’re praying for that one!).

In Part 3 of Colour and Aromas I will share a little more with you, but for now I am being made aware that I need to shuffle my ‘Magical Unicorns’ oracle cards. My Guides have chosen: ‘Imagine’ – what would you, see, feel, think and hear if your wish came true?

When you imagine your dream coming true, you help make it happen. This card asks you to think of a wish that you really want, and imagine that it has come true. Next, close your eyes and notice how your body feels while you think about your wish. How do you feel – excited, happy, nervous, or some other way? Do you feel tingles anywhere in your body? What else do you feel?

Now, notice what you see when you imagine your wish coming true. What people, colours, and things do you see? What do you see yourself doing as your wish comes true? What else do you see?

Then, listen for any words that you hear in your mind. What do you hear? What do you think it means? At this point, focus on your thoughts as you think about your dream. Do you have any ideas? Anything else, that you think?

When you imagine your dream coming true, and notice all your feelings, thoughts, words, and visions, you help make it happen! This is the power of the human imagination. It’s sometimes called “faith”. You may be surprised when your wish comes true in a better way than you think. Let yourself see all sorts of wonderful dreams and wishes. And have faith that they’ll come true in ways beyond your greatest imagination!

Thank you Guides and Angels.

And on that happy note, all that’s left for me to say this time is: “have an absolutely superb, fantastic, happy, joyous Christmas - filled with Love, Light and Laughter!”

The next time we meet we will have said “hello” to a brand-spanking New Year – lets pray that our next year moving forward holds a little more ‘ease’ to it and is filled with an abundance of all things good…………we deserve it!

SEASONAL LOVE, SHINING STAR LIGHT, AND A CHOIR OF ANGELS BLESSINGS!!
