HOLISTIC HEALTH - Issue 8.
It really is great that so many of you are reading my column – thanks for your lovely comments! Even the ‘men’ are taking notice – that’s great guys! And only the other day someone said to me “Suzy - you’re famous now” – and there was I thinking that because my hair is now blonde, instead of pink, that I’d be unrecognisable! Mind you, I suppose my painted pick-up gives me away every time – I am a ‘Rainbow Warrior’ after-all!
I have talked a little about prayers and asking the Angels for help, and this time I would like to share a little more with you. I have also been asked to explain a little more about my work with Angel and Ascended Master energy, I hope to answer this for you.
Let me first of all remind you of a song by Abba – ‘I believe in Angels’ – remember it? Well, it was a huge favourite in the local Spiritualist centre that my friend runs, where I came from, in Devon. It is a very special song for me and was very pertinent to my life-changing move to Spain! I truly and wholeheartedly believe in Angels – 110%!! My Angels have helped manifest my dearest hopes and wishes and they have guided and protected me along the way. I have no doubt whatsoever that my Angels are working for me and with me, and that all will go to plan for the highest good for all concerned. There have been times when I have questioned ‘life’ but I have always found that there is a reason for everything and that there are lessons to be learned from all situations in life.
It is all down to faith, and that doesn’t mean you have to be ‘religious’. If you have a faith, a belief system that works for you then that is all that matters. My biggest test of faith happened on the day I moved over to Spain with my family last year. A few of you will already be aware of what happened to us on the day we were heading towards Teruel, so to cut a long story short: we had a major car accident – you could say that we arrived with a bang!! My little girl and I are extremely lucky to have our lives, and I know that my Angels took care of us – especially Archangel Michael. I work closely with the energy of Archangel Michael, in my daily life and on a healing level when doing therapies. I know that my Spirit was removed from my physical body before the accident and it was put back in sometime afterwards – my little girl also. I am grateful for their assistance and healing, and I know that the thoughts, prayers and healing, that were being sent to us from all over Europe helped us through – no doubt about that!
So, you see, my faith in what I believe in is SO strong – 110%!! It works for me but we are all individuals and our belief is personal. If you can take anything positive from what I have shared with you then a little ‘light’ has been shared, and this is my mission this life-time.
Archangels oversee our own personal guardian Angels and are involved with helping Earth and her inhabitants. They are very large, loud, and powerful, yet they’re also extremely loving and egoless. As they are not physical they do not have genders but their specific characteristics and fortes give them distinctive male and female energies and personas. There are 15 Archangels and they are nondenominational, which means that you don’t have to believe in any particular religion in order to ask for their help, and because they are non-physical limitless beings they can help everyone who calls upon them simultaneously. They will respond to your requests, whether they are spoken, written or thought. You can also ask that are stationed permanently by your side, and they are very happy to do so – it works!!
Connecting with your Angels can be done quite simply. It’s important to quiet your mind with a couple of deep breaths, close your eyes and ask your Angels to help you feel peaceful. Then, ask your Angels a question. Notice the impressions that come to you, feelings, ideas, words or visions. Trust that the communication is coming from your Angels. Often the messages are very simple and may seem unrelated to your question, if you are confused then ask that they give you a clearer sign or additional information.
If you sometimes feel that your prayers have gone unanswered you may not have noticed the messages or help that has come in, you may have been expecting a different answer or in a different way. If you trust the Divine guidance, and are open to receiving, then help will be there. Sometimes we can inadvertently ignore the advice that is sent, or you may have to wait for “Divine timing”. Some prayers are instantly answered and some need time to “cook”!
More about the Angels next time: who they are and what they help with. But for now, time for me to bid you a fond “hasta luego”!!
