For those of you who don’t know, Oliva computers is under new management with none other than Mick Graham – Haircut 100 – and his lovely girlfriend Gabriella. Mick was always active in the area in the computer field and had many existing clients whom he used to visit at their homes to repair their computers.
However when the opportunity came along to take over Oliva computers, Mick, after some discussion with Gabriella about what it would mean, decided to bite the bullet and take it on realising the possibilities of the place.
When asked by the Inland Trader why he thought he would make a go of it when two previous owners hadn’t he replied “I think the difference is that both Andy and Warren were engineers and were more content to be in the back room repairing computers. However, I believe the potential of this place is really at the front of office providing services to customers.
He further added” What we are trying to achieve here is to be a one stop shop for anything to do with English ex pats.”
When asked to expand on this he suggested that by offering more services than just computer repairs, such as translation services form English to Spanish and vice versa, Home Alarm systems, insurance and even assistance with property purchase. On the computer side he has now set out his store so that you can buy many items both in shop and online at the new website.
If you are a small business then Mick can even talk to you about managing your network, setting up an e-commerce site for you, and of course the purchase of and the setting up of your computer equipment. He has already negotiated some excellent deals with his suppliers.
When asked what his unique selling point over the many other computer stores in town, Mick added simply that everything they do, from the keyboard to the operating system is in English. No more struggling to try and understand what your computer is trying to tell you. Mick and Gabriella can help you set up in English so you don’t struggle anymore. He will even help you configure email, internet access and anything else you want – it’s all part of the service.
Asked if he had any special offers for Inland Trader readers, he has very generously given a discount on his popular selling laptops. An Acer laptop with good specification for a mere €799 – but only when you mention you read about it in the Inland Trader.
Good luck to Mick and Gabriella from all at the Inland and Coastal Trader
