this week I am going to continue this theme focusing on Venus in the signs of Capricorn, Aquarius, Leo and Virgo. Also on the subject of Venus, it will change signs from Aries to Taurus on 29th May. Taurus is the natural home and ruler for Venus and for us all it will be a good time to focus on the Venusian matters of love, money and the arts. It is a good time to attract the people and things that we value most, to invest in property, focus on finances and invest in stable artistic projects.

So I will continue with Venus signs and compatibility in the world of celebrities. Brad Pitt is a Capricorn Venus. His marriage to Jennifer Aniston (Venus in Aries) was famously over when he began a relationship with Angelina Jolie (Venus in Cancer.) Venus Capricorns always suffer some major disappointment in love. Examples are Elvis Presley, his later son-in-law Nicolas Cage and Britney Spears, who have all had famously painful break ups. They tend to marry for reasons that may be unrelated to the notion of “love” and often for practical reasons. They are restrained in their emotions because they can’t express the depth of their feelings. Nicholas Cage’s Venus did not prove compatible with Lisa Marie Presley’s equally one in the same sign of Capricorn. Justin Timberlake is also a Venus Capricorn and things did not work out with fellow Venus Capricorn, Britney. He is now with Cameron Diaz whose Venus is in Cancer, as is Angelina Jolies who is now with Brad Pitt. Priscilla Presley’s Venus, like Jennifer Aniston is in Aries. So it seems that Aries and Capricorn do not make a long-lasting match despite an instant attraction and Capricorn and Capricorn do not bode well as the emotions are too cool on either part. But Cancer, a nurturing sign seems to work well with Capricorn.
Some same sign matches seem to work. For example Freddie Prinze jnr and Sarah Michele Gellar both have their Venuses in Aquarius. This placement is usually wary of committed relationships, but these two respect each others need for freedom. They enjoy unconventional relationships usually based on intellectual understanding. They are usually glamorous and have plenty of admirers. Paris Hilton is a Venus sign Aquarius.
Madonna is a Venus in Leo lady. As you can guess as this placement indicates someone who is ardent in relationships and has a pronounced talent for the arts. They have a strong attraction to the opposite sex, are affectionately demonstrative but incredibly vain and egocentric. She is currently married to Guy Ritchie who is a Venus sign Libran, who usually like to marry for life. Tom Cruise is a Venus sign Leo and his marriage to Nicole Kidman failed. As she is also a Venus sign Leo it could be that there wasn’t room for two such strong egos in the relationship. He is now with Katie Holmes who is a Venus sign Scorpio. Although she is young as she finds her feet there may be an interesting development in the balance of power in this relationship. Venus sign Scorpios are capable of exerting a lot of control over their partners.
And finally, Venus sign Virgos. This placement indicates a person who is looking for the perfect partner or relationship and can be quite nitpicking towards their partner. Like Capricorns they also experience a major disappointment in love, and usually have more than one marriage. Mick Jagger has his Venus in Virgo as does Melanie Griffiths and Julia Roberts who have all had complicated love lives!
